Happy Easter

Happy Easter!

We hope you all had a most memorable Easter. Missy Moo spent the weekend with my parents, while Mr. Sweetie, Mr. Bumbles and I spent Friday and Saturday at the farm getting things ready for our next water turn. Mr. Sweetie and his dad were able to get the field layed off (or the furrows depened) for the water to run down the field better, some of the weeds burned and one of the sides of the ditch cleared so they could run the 4-wheeler along the field and not have to cross the water or go the long way to the field.

Mr. Bumbles and I just had fun checking everything out within our short walking distance.

Our first stop was to the horses next door....




Then we found daddy getting ready to burn the weeds with the 4-wheeler.





Then we checked out Daddy and grandpa's John Deere tractor.....



Then after lunch we saw daddy borrowed a back hoe from his cousin Scott, so we went to check out what he was doing......



It was very fun to get outside and just be curious about everything.....


All in all it was fun to get away to the country and slow down a bit from the city life. And especially to spend it with Grandma and Grandpa G and Aunt Ginger and her boys Devon and Ryan came down with a couple of friends. It was a full house, but fun to all be together.
We look forward to going down again for the water turn.

Amazingly enough we made it back home in time to go to church on Sunday, have a lovely Easter dinner with Grandma and Grandpa M and even an Easter egg hunt....
